XF 2.1 45 Installed Add-ons to remove

On my XF 1.5 I have 45 Installed Add-ons, which before upgrading to XF 2,1 I need to remove/un-install.
Thing is this takes hours and hours, into days to do
Is there no way to do it quicker or all in one go?
Kinda putting me off from upgrading to be honest

Shouldn't take hours and hours unless they are huge addons. I would think a couple hours would suffice.

Just leave them. Xenforo labels them as 'legacy'

Some 2.1-add-ons cam import the settings from old add-ons. They don't take too much space.

After the upgrade you can still delete them.

I had double that and left them be, they sit there as legacy add-ons and may come in handy if you decide to upgrade them to xf2.1 versions Then when certain that you won't need any of that legacy data to upgrade you can delete them.

The lengthiest process on uninstall is normally the template rebuild, which increases by a lot with every single style installed.

FYI,. we recommend uninstalling any add-ons you don't intend to use in XF2.

If you do not intend to use an add-on any longer, if possible, we recommend uninstalling it before upgrading. Not doing so may leave orphaned data in your database.

Yeah that's what I read Brogan and thought it be better to take them out before the upgrade.

Yeah that might be it, as I've got like 4 styles installed....

With 4 styles I wouldn't expect rebuilding to take that long - a few minutes at most.

If it's taking significantly longer than that then it could indicate an underpowered/overloaded/misconfigured server.
