27

Today is number 27. I know the number means little to most, but for me and my wife, it represents the number of years we have been married. And honestly, it seems like yesterday that we gave our vows; time flies.

Here is to another 27 (and with my family history, another 20 will be fine with me, :eek: )
Wow! Happy Anniversary, Lawrence. You're a lucky man! :)

Ha you all are so lucky...at least you all have someone to make you miserable...I have to do that all by myself :-)

CONGRATS LAWRENCE! Best regards to you and the Misses and many more to yah.

Back when my first wife turned forty, I thought I'd trade her in for 2 twenties.......................That's when I discovered I wasn't wired for two twenties!

At my age I get a pass on political correctness. My age is my GOOJFC!*

*get out of jail free card.

If that is all you want a wife for I wouldn't worry too much, there is little chance of that bachelor status being changed ;)

Thy husband is thy lord, thy life, thy keeper,
Thy head, thy sovereign; one that cares for thee
And for thy maintenance; commits his body
To painful labor both by sea and land,
To watch the night in storms, the day in cold,
Whilst thou li'st warm at home, secure and safe;
And craves no other tribute at thy hands
But love, fair looks, and true obedience--
Too little payment for so great a debt.
Such duty as the subject owes the prince,
Even such a woman oweth to her husband;
And when she is froward, peevish, sullen, sour,
And not obedient to his honest will,
What is she but a foul contending rebel
And graceless traitor to her loving lord?

Quote that on First Dates, it will really help you sort the wheat from the chaff when it comes to the ladies ;)

You're living in the wrong century, my friend.

Thanks everyone, :) We had a great day: quiet, good wine, and good food.

Jaxel: lol. I have more "flattering" pictures I could use, but like this one because of when and why it was taken. And yeah, when I scroll through a thread list where I posted and my avatar pops up, it freaks me out for a second. :p

I think your avatar is great Lawrence, I'm disappointed that I'm the only member ripping you in this thread though !!

Yay for marriage?

Bachelor life, for the win.

Women don't know how to cook and clean anymore. It's absolutely terrible; woe is me.

Maybe you should try to find a man?

Yep, definitely go for a man. With an attitude like that, you won't have any issues finding one.
