XF 2.2 2.2.0 does not work with themehouse reactions plus

Be warned that updating from the latest version to the new 2.2.0 may not work. I got a broken site:

This is something you will have to ask the author about. This is something that would be fixed in the add-on, and not XF itself.

Indeed, just saying don't do it until you look into your plugins.

I am having to wait on the hosting provider to restore the database backup as it won't restore for me in cPanel. Then hopefully disable the plugin and go again.

That has been the case since XF1.0.

It is made clear over and over here on the forum, in the release threads, etc.

You don't need to do this.

You just need to update the add-on:

How do you update a plugin when the entire site is taken down by the problem? the text I posted above is literally all you get. I have restored files, as soon as the host restores the database I will update.

Presumably you can just log in to your admin control panel.

If the site is not accessible to find the link to that, you can always just add admin.php onto the end of your forum URL.

You can also disable add-ons via your src/config.php file.

The whole site is turned to gogodybook. So I open the config file and alter some text against plugins to disable them?

Nope same result, admin panel in totally shut down with same error as before.

Just add $config['enableListeners'] = false; to your config.php and after that you can upgrade the addon.
