XF 2.0 1.5 -> 2.0: What happens to 3rd party styles/addons in the database?

I dont want to uninstall any in fear of losing custom created tables and fields as I will upgrade those addons. However, what happens to 3rd party addons/styles/template modifications in the database when you upgrade from 1.5 -> 2.0 (e.g xf_addon,xf_template_modification, xf_template_modification_log, etc)?

The add-on records remain, but existing add-ons are disabled and marked as legacy (meaning they will need to be updated before being used again).

Templates, template modifications and related tables will no longer be relevant so they are removed.

Styles remain, but they will essentially be reverted to the XF default style (we attempt to retain some colour properties though your mileage may vary with that).
