Q: Which SMS providers are supported?
A: A total of 9 providers are supported: VatanSMS (JSON API), VatanSMS.com (XML API), NetGSM, MutluCell, KaynakSMS, İletiMerkezi, Twilio, BulkSMS, and SendPulse. Each can be independently configured from the Admin panel.
Q: Can multiple providers be active at the same time?
A: No. The system uses the single provider that is marked as active. You can switch providers at any time by activating an alternative one.
Q: Does bulk SMS sending slow down the server?
A: No. Bulk SMS delivery is processed via XenForo's background Job Queue system, so server performance is unaffected even when sending to thousands of members.
Q: Can members change their phone number later?
A: Yes. Once the admin-configured interval has passed (e.g., every 30 days), members can update their number. An SMS code is sent to the new number and the change is not saved until verified.
Q: Is the 2FA SMS feature compatible with XenForo's existing TFA system?
A: Yes. The add-on extends XenForo's built-in TFA (Two-Factor Authentication) infrastructure by adding an "SMS" method. It can be used simultaneously with other existing 2FA methods (TOTP, backup codes, etc.).
