[XFA] RM Donations - XF2 4.3.0

Help your resource authors get a thank-you for their work. When a member clicks Download on a free resource, a friendly popup invites them to make a PayPal or Bitcoin donation, then the download starts. Donations stay optional, so nobody is blocked from getting the file.

Perfect for communities with free add-ons, styles, mods and tutorials whose authors deserve a tip.

What's new in 4.3.0​

• Choose the PayPal currency: authors pick the currency of their donations per resource or as their account default. Admins can set it per category or forum wide, using the currency list of the Resource Manager. The currency symbol is now shown in the donation popup.

A friendly donation popup​

• Shown at the right moment: the popup appears right under the Download button, when your members are most grateful.
• Suggested amount: a default amount is already filled in, and members can change it or enter 0 to skip.
• PayPal donations: members donate to the author's PayPal address in a few clicks.
• Bitcoin donations: a QR code to scan with a wallet app, or a link to open the wallet on the computer.
• Download follows the donation step: the file download starts once the member has gone through the popup.
• Version history too: the same prompt appears on the download buttons of the version history.

Flexible for authors​

• Your own PayPal and Bitcoin addresses: use one of them or both, set on each resource or once as the default in the author's account.
• Default amounts: suggest the amount you like for PayPal and for Bitcoin.
• Account defaults, resource overrides: set it once for all your resources, then change it for a specific one.
• Mistakes caught early: PayPal emails and Bitcoin addresses are checked before they are saved.

Control for admins​

• Modes per category: turn donations off, let authors use their own addresses, use one address for the whole category, or use one address for the entire forum.
• Forum wide or category wide address: collect donations for your community instead of the individual authors.
• Currency control: set the PayPal currency for the category or the whole forum.
• Permissions: choose who can ask for donations and who can set the suggested amount.
