Description
New Thread On Index brings your user with the capability to start a new thread directly from the index. Once they click on the Post a new thread button, a popup opens, letting them choose in which forum they which to start the new thread.

Nice little addon! Lately more and more newbies keep asking how to post a new topic. They are used to facebook and don't seem to understand that they first have to pick a forum before the new thread button appears.
This addon makes it easier for new people. Showing the button to guests is also a good idea. This way they are forced to register before posting.

Good addon for quick posting of a new thread and also for new members that sometimes have difficulty finding the correct forum to post in (or even can't find the post new thread button..) Working perfect on 1.5.11

New people to forums, dont quite get or understand why there isnt a global editor at the top of the screen, this addon helps start the learning process that content in a forum must be organized beyond a single continuous stream!

Works great. The reason I like this is many newbies can't seem to work out that you must go inside a forum to see the "new thread" button. This get's them there without having to 'contact us'. Thanks!
