Bug Fixes​

• Historical Message Notifications: Fixed conversions sending XenForo Direct Message email, push, and alert notifications for every migrated historical post. Converted conversations now migrate silently without notifying participants about old replies.

Important Note​

Any new replies posted in the Direct Message after conversion continue to use XenForo's normal notification system. Whether a member receives email, push, or on-site notifications is controlled by their XenForo account preferences; this addon does not change those settings for future Direct Message replies.

XenCustomize Thread to Direct Message v2.0.3 Released​

This update improves reliability and usability when converting very large threads into Direct Messages. Thanks to @Pepe2012 for their help and patience, we are now able to test conversions on threads with more than 27,000 posts including attachments, reactions, etc.

• Large Thread Conversion: Thread conversions now run through XenForo's resumable job queue, processing replies in small batches to avoid browser request timeouts and long database locks.
• Conversion Progress Notice: Threads now display an in-progress notice during background conversion and temporarily hide the conversion action, helping prevent duplicate submissions while processing.
• Converter Access: The authorized user who converts a thread is now included in the resulting Direct Message when they were not already a thread participant, ensuring they can open and verify the converted conversation.
