1.1.0 ​

We're excited to roll out the v1.1.0 release of Limit Resource Downloads, a significant update that implemented a new download page, countdown timer before displaying the download button and much more. Also, don't forget to check out the last two beta updates in the v1.1 series:

What's on the horizon?​

We've completed the feature additions for the v1.1 series. Our development focus will now shift to Profile Audio Player v2. Meanwhile, for this add-on, we remain committed to enhancing stability, refining existing functionalities, and addressing any reported bugs and compatibility issues. Thank you for your support!

• Admin option to set the default number of seconds that users should wait before initiating the download:

• Added usergroup permission to customize “Countdown Timer Time” per usergroup, overriding the admin default:

• Included a couple of XenForo native ad positions for placing advertisements on the download countdown timer page:
  • Limit Resource Downloads: Countdown timer above download.
  • Limit Resource Downloads: Countdown timer below download.
• Added new widget position to place widgets in the sidebar position on the download countdown timer page:
  • Limit resource downloads: Countdown timer.
• Included additional new templates and phrases.

If all conditions are met, clicking the original Download button will now redirect you to this new download page. To initiate the countdown timer, simply click "Get the download link" once.

Once the countdown timer finishes, the Download button will appear.

We've included built-in advertising positions for your convenience. You can effortlessly place advertisements on the download page, either above the download button or right below it.

We've also added a sidebar widget position on the Download page. You can place ads in the right sidebar using an HTML widget.

    • Disabling the option permits users to change reactions, while enabling it restricts this action.

    • Disabling the option permits users to undo their reactions, while enabling it restricts this action.
• Added new usergroup permissions to override option settings and enable changing or undoing reactions for different user groups:

Admins' Choice of Positive Reaction IDs​

Say goodbye to the ordinary! From now on, users can download resources only when they've reacted a positive reaction. This feature uses the "Positive Reaction IDs" specified by admins, giving them full control over the process.

New user-friendly error page to guide users when they’ve reacted, but not with a positive reaction:

Streamlined Error Handling: Users attempting to download without any reaction will still encounter the familiar "Oops! You forgot to react" error page.

Note: In version 1.1.x, the price has gone up to $35. Existing customers will need to pay an additional fee for this version and future updates in the 1.1 series. For example, if a customer initially paid $25, they will now need to pay an extra $10. If they initially paid $20, the additional cost is $15.
