XenCustomize Forum Views for XenForo 2​

Display useful forum view totals directly in your forum list, with flexible control over how they are shown and counted.

XenCustomize Forum Views helps XenForo administrators show total forum views in a simple, native-looking way. It is useful for communities that want to highlight active forums, give visitors a better sense of forum popularity, and keep those totals easy to manage from the Admin CP.

It works well for both small and large boards, and it now gives admins better control over number format, rebuilds, and which forums should or should not be included.

Features​

Forum views in the node list
Show total forum views directly in the forum list so members and guests can quickly see which areas are getting attention.

Child forum support
Parent forums can include the views from their child forums, which helps show a more complete total for grouped forum sections.

Forum Statistics widget support
Add total forum views to XenForo's Forum Statistics widget for a broader summary of board activity.

Exact or shortened number format
Choose whether to show values like 12,540 or shorter values like 12.5K.

Exclude selected forums
Choose one or more forums that should not display Forum Views.

Control parent total behavior
Decide whether excluded forums should only be hidden on those forums, or also be removed from parent forum totals.

Control Forum Statistics totals
Decide whether excluded forums should also be removed from the total shown in the Forum Statistics widget.

Manual rebuild tool
Run a rebuild from XenForo Admin CP under Tools > Rebuild caches when you want to refresh totals manually.

Automatic rebuild support
Forum Views can rebuild automatically after installation, and the normal rebuild flow is designed to work smoothly for ongoing maintenance.

Cleaner counting rules
Forum totals only count visible, non-redirect threads for more practical results.

Notes / Limitations​

• Forum totals are based on thread view counts stored by XenForo.
• Only visible, non-redirect threads are counted in Forum Views totals.
• If you change exclusion-related settings, you should run the Forum Views rebuild so totals and cached statistics update properly.
• This addon is focused on forum view totals. It does not provide date-based trend history or advanced analytics reporting.
