This addon works great. Simply define the time span and usergroups and then any back to back posting by the same member is merged.

The new versions obligate us to register and validate our xenforo license from there instead of using the community verification and the external site's license validation doesn't work. This makes this addon incompatible with any updater and reduces the safety of the addon as the xenforo team can't moderate all downloads made from that strange site. This way they can distribute infected versions from special profile if they want. I like how this plugin works but I hated the new distribution and licensing method for a free addon.

I am sorry to confirm that our add-ons are distributed at our web site only and we do not offer anonymous licenses even with free add-ons.

The problem with XF license validation at our web site was solved within several hours after being reported to us. Please try again.

This add-on works perfectly and is used by many forum owners without any problems. We care a lot about our add-ons! Each of them is made with love and carefully crafted with a lot of experience and knowledge. This add-on is also provided free of charge to all XenForo licensees.

Of course this add-on is compatible with any automatic updater and we do certainly not distribute "infected" versions of any of our add-ons. The XenForo team does not moderate downloads here, so why should they at our business website? I do not know why you felt a need to defame our business in such a way and hope you may post a more applicable review soon. We would be very happy if you rethink your 2 star review, because of the small problem we had with our website after XenForo.com's change from Apache to Nginx.

My previous review was left for version 1.0.7 in 2013, and the add-on has grown quite a bit from back then!

I love the fact that the permissions are updated now to make them better from the previous versions, I can finally have different time limits for different user groups. At first the change in permissions may be confusing, but it's very easy to understand and very powerful to set-up. For example, I can have a global value to merge all posts for an unlimited period of time, then have a particular forum merge posts only made in 6 hours, THEN have a usergroup merge posts only within 2 hours. Love the control and helps on various situations where staff need not have their posts merged or it is required for members to post two times and the post to not merge.

Man, I just keep finding gems by you Syndol. This is a MUST HAVE for classifieds forums. Other "bump" addons will still allow users to bump via posts. This addon allows us to limit bumping to once a day, finally. And we can set rules per node, so our Classifieds can have long 24 hour limits and not affect other forums. Thanks!

Have been using this since I can remember my community running, a very useful add-on and there is no necessity to merge posts manually OR warn members for a simple thing such as double posting.
