Thread Filter by AddonsLab 4.1.0

Hello everyone,

In this version we have enhanced the locations where thread field values can be shown on forum view and search pages. Now admins can easily choose any number of fields to be shown in a separate column, under thread title or as a thread prefix. In search results, only the prefix and under thread title locations are available.

This version is not backward-compatible with the 1.3.x version in terms of field location selection, so after installation please go to Edit Forum page and choose the locations for each field.

This is a bug-fix release, that solves an error appearing if DB error happens during license validation.

In this release, we have implemented showing the values of custom fields in thread list and search results.

By default, no values are included. Any forum can be edited and under the list of available custom fields, there is a list to choose which ones should be shown in thread list and search results.

The column added follows a similar layout in mobile view as Replies/Views column, changing to smaller font size first and then switching to a line under thread title.

Please note, that the fields are included in one cell, under each other, and depending on field value, may require less or more space to be displayed. Depending on the number of fields you choose to display in the list, you may need to apply custom CSS fixes to make the list to appear properly.

In this release, we have implemented an option to move Filters on forum view pages from the pop-up to the top of thread list. The setting can be activated in product's settings page. It can also be overridden for each individual forum in Edit Forum/Category pages. Child forums/nodes inherit the setting from their parents or use board default.

This is a bug-fix release, that resolves a PHP error regarding the licensing system, as well as fixes the behavior of multiple choice fields if their filter is shown as a single-choice selector.
