Upgrade: upload the whole
upload folder and run the add-on upgrade in the Admin CP. This release adds one permission,
Upload a custom conversation wallpaper (granted to members and staff by default), and one option,
Open on the conversation list (left disabled).
Wallpapers
- Ten new wallpapers, twenty in total: patterns (hearts, bubbles, paper planes, sparks, waves, confetti, diamonds, honeycomb) and gradients
- Members with the new permission can upload their own image, and remove it at any time
- Drawn in CSS: no extra image files, readable on light and dark themes
Conversation list
- Bulk moderation is back, with XenForo's own actions: mark read, mark unread, star, unstar, leave
- The list can be widened to read long titles in full, remembered per device
- Starred conversations now show a star
- Shows the person you are talking to, not whoever posted last
- Compact dates, sender name in the accent colour, squared avatars, airier rows
New
- A dedicated pinned messages list, opened from the pin bar
- New option: open on the conversation list instead of the most recent conversation
Now built on XenForo's own components
- @-mention autocomplete is XenForo's own, identical to the editor
- Emoji auto-completion (
) comes with it
- Images open in XenForo's lightbox
- Real FontAwesome icons in the formatting bar
Fixed
- An open composer panel stayed on screen after sending and covered the conversation
- The conversation options menu was cut off
- Attachments in the dock showed list bullets and an oversized thumbnail
- A back arrow appeared on the conversation list, where it did nothing
- The new-conversation form now matches the rest of the add-on and fills the space
- The real-time "Connection successful" message could not be translated
- "Seen by ..." is now announced to screen readers
