Does Eggy ROM Console include game ROMs?
No. ROM Console does not include commercial game ROMs or copyrighted game libraries. Players are responsible for supplying their own compatible ROM files and ensuring they have the appropriate rights to use them.
Do I need to install EmulatorJS separately?
No. The required EmulatorJS runtime and supported emulator cores are bundled with ROM Console.

Yes. Compatible browser-supported gamepads/controllers can be used alongside keyboard controls.
ROM Console also includes built-in mobile touch controls for phones and tablets.
Does ROM Console work on mobile devices?
Yes. The player includes a responsive mobile interface with touch controls. Landscape orientation is recommended for gameplay.
Are local ROM files uploaded to my server?
For local ROM playback, the player selects the ROM from the user's own device and verifies it against the registered game metadata before playback.
A player's personal local ROM collection does not need to be permanently uploaded to your XenForo installation simply to play.
Does ROM Console support cloud saves?
Yes. Registered members can maintain cloud save states and manage their saves through ROM Console.
Compatible .sav and .srm battery-save files can also be imported for supported games.
Does it include achievements and progression?
Yes. ROM Console includes achievements, XP, configurable ranks, leaderboards, play activity and persistent member progression.
What are reward drops?
Players can earn collectible reward items with artwork and different qualities/rarities. Reward drops can be claimed and added to the player's collection and can interact with the wider wallet and trading systems.
Is guest play supported?
Yes. Guest gameplay can be enabled, but guest sessions are intentionally separated from registered-member progression.
Guests do not retain normal account-based cloud saves, XP, achievements, rewards or leaderboard progress.
Can I control ROM Console through XenForo user-group permissions?
Yes. ROM Console includes native XenForo permissions covering access, gameplay, ROM functionality, saves, achievements, ranks, leaderboards, rewards, wallet, purchases, trading and coin earning.
Is there an Admin Control Panel?
Yes. ROM Console includes extensive XenForo Admin CP management for consoles and cores, games, players, moderation, sessions, guest activity, leaderboards, ranks and XP, achievements, rewards, trading, wallet, imports, settings and system readiness.
What version of XenForo is required?
