Features:
  • All phrases start with countdown_ for your convenience.
Installation:
  1. Download Andy-Countdown-2.1.zip and unzip it.
  2. Copy the src/addons/Andy/Countdown directory to your server.
  3. From the Admin Control Panel Install the add-on.
Widget setup:
  1. From the Admin Control Panel select the Widgets under the Appearance tab.
  2. Click the Add widgets button.
  3. Select the Countdown widget.
  4. Widget key = countdown
  5. Title = (leave blank)
  6. Display in positions = Forum list: Sidebar
  7. Click Save.
User group permissions:

Example of User group permissions:

Administrative = Admin
Registered = View
Unregistered / Unconfirmed = View

Q: Can I have more than one countdown at a time?
A: No.

Excellent as every addon from AndyB. With this addon you're able to setup a small countdown in your forum so that everyone know how much time will be for a particular event. Great!
