Unique Custom User Fields​

This XenForo 2.3+ addon allows administrators to enforce uniqueness on custom user fields. This is particularly useful for fields like "Game ID", "License Number", or "Discord ID" where duplicates should not be allowed.

Features

• Adds a "[BraisDev] Require unique values" option to the Custom User Field edit page in Admin CP.
• Prevents users from saving a profile if the custom field value is already in use by another user.
• Shows a specific error message indicating which field is duplicated.
• Validates on both registration and profile updates.
  
  

  Requirements​

• XenForo 2.3.0 or higher.
  
  

  Installation​

1. Upload the BraisDev folder to your src/addons directory.
2. Go to your Admin Control Panel -> Add-ons.
3. Install Unique Custom User Fields.
   
   

   Usage​

4. Go to Admin CP -> Users -> Custom user fields.
5. Create a new field or edit an existing one.
6. Under the "General options" tab, check the box [BraisDev] Require unique values.
7. Save the field.
   
   

   Translations​

   This addon comes with English (default) and Spanish translations.

• English: Built-in default.
• Spanish: Import the translation_es.xml file located in the addon folder via Appearance -> Languages -> Import.
