Unmaintained [AddonFlare] XF2 Ignore/Block Essentials 1.1.1.1

We recently paid for a lifetime license, after a few years of limited license extensions. We had no problems in the earlier years when our license was time limited, but that all changed when we finally paid for the lifetime extension. This turned out to be the biggest mistake we've ever made for our forum. $90 of our money, donated graciously by our staff and loyal members, straight down the drain!

We've been ghosted on our support ticket submitted for a broken addon. There are multiple bugs that allow users to bypass the functionality, and additionally we found that the addon was the cause of an issue we were experiencing with the REST API not working on some of our other custom scripts. The dev has not even acknowledged our attempts to get help despite repeated requests through their support website, yet when we finally gave up and disputed the sale through PayPal, they were VERY quick to respond and deny us there, claiming they were in fact providing the product as described. Imagine that! Guess they just don't care about anyone's issues they've reported here, so long as they got their money from you!

We will never use this add-on again. It is now permanently uninstalled from our site, no thanks to the developer, because not even the uninstaller script worked without manual intervention! As it is, it is completely unusable and there is no sign that will change any time soon.

To anyone who stumbles upon this add-on, all I can say is stay away. Stay far, far away.

This add-on is riddled with bugs and is not updated or supported. The developer ignores all bug reports and pretends like everything is OK. Avoid.

So far, so good! I used it to "force ignore" between two guys that just couldn't get along. Otherwise good contributors. This was the perfect solution. No more drama! :-) Thanks!

I used this and I represent my small amount users to Thank you! In my forum, there are males and females and l there is occasional content and conversation harassment.

Your add-on has saved the day. Without it, I would have gotten others to code.

No support ! No answer! Does not suit such a company! we cannot communicate in any way. Really bad situation!

Addonflare always build awesome addons. But only the issue is their support was bad. Unless you are a quite patient webmaster, then you can wait for every bug fixes or new features within 3 months (as i have experienced)

Does the job, better than expected if I’m truly honest. When you buy, install and manage an add-on, you want two things: 1, the add-on to do the job. 2, as an admin for it to be easy. This is the bomb. Sadly I spent all our saved memberships funds on this but we will be buying that next. This is what you need but don’t know it. 👍🏻 Thank you @addonflair

That`s a more one example of a fine very good work by AddonFlare.

After the easy installation, the Add-on works as design. No bugs reporting, no errors and no forced use modifications. I can totally recommend this product to any admin who need such this feature.

My suggestion is to implement an expanded ignore options, like ignore threads and hole sections of nodes., for not showing up in "Whats New"link.

Installed, and working nicely. bought it with three months of updates to test it out, will go the full year and branding free as soon as it is time to renew. Great feature!

A wonderful extension of the built in ignore system. Works great and support has been superb. My users are very happy to have this option available to them.

The built-in XF ignore function is pointless and does nothing. This addon improves upon that system adding 2-WAY blocking ensuring when I block "problem-user" they are GONE FOR GOOD from my feeds, forums, post, conversations. Highly recommended.

My users requested a blocking feature and this does the job nicely. The support for issues is top class as well. Thank you for this.
