Use this add-on to automatically mirror/re-host hotlinked images in posts (and other supported content types), storing them as attachments to protect your content if the original image host goes offline or deletes the image.
A rebuild tool is also bundled with the add-on and can be accessed via the admin panel or the command line to re-host images retrospectively.
