XF 1.5 .htaccess redirect after vB4.2 import

OK Disregard. Works great now. My browser cached the page before. left .htaccess in the /community folder and refreshed browser. Links from google work again now as well. Just a closing question since I'm not great with SEO. From what I understand as spiders crawl my site now they will update...

XF 1.5 .htaccess redirect after vB4.2 import

Thanks @Mike Updated the root .htaccess as 301 Moved all rewrite scripts into the old and empty /forums folder. It's still not quite right. Did you want me to move the /community .htaccess into the /forums folder also?

XF 1.5 .htaccess redirect after vB4.2 import

    Special Avatar for Banned Members

I too had to move the "styles/default/bannedavatar" folder to the appropriate one for my aftermarket style. I thought at first I had to rebuild cache for users, but found the answer here in post #226. Thanks @Chris D works great!

    XF 1.5 mySQL Database Size

Just whatever is in there from doing the vB 4.2 import, I'm not aware of anything else. The sql.gz is 60meg, when I upload it cPanel is saying it's 300+mb and then as I use the forums it expands. I don't know if it's a problem, just thought it was odd. Forums run fine etc. Just don't want to...

    XF 1.5 mySQL Database Size

So I backed up a database of about 60 something megs. It saved as a .SQL.GZ I wanted to restore it with a different name so I used 7Zip to extra the .SQL file and I replaced the D.B. name. I then used cPanels Backup & Restore feature to restore the .SQL file and now suddenly the database is...

XF 1.5 Use archived_import_log to update hyperlinks

We are converting from vB 4.2 and as you know when you import any hyperlinks in a post are still directed to the vB links. I had found a tool that used the archived_import_log table to parse through the posts and update them all. However I don't remember the name of it and can't find it...

XF 1.5 Error rebuilding XML Sitemap

True, you got the file check on the back-end, and I agree unfortunate. But hey stuff happens. Don't understand how it happened though. I used webdav mapped to my PC the first time around and that is TCP shouldn't have been and issue. This time around I went with good ol' SFTP and simply...

XF 1.5 Error rebuilding XML Sitemap

OK, I do see them in that path now in the ZIP. But I agree, I will download again and re-upload to my server. Kinda late for this, but would be cool if the download links showed a CRC hash so members could check the download. I will followup after the x-fers are done.
