    [XenConcept] Linked Accounts [Paid]

It's the old ThemeHouse Subaccounts addon: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/th-sub-accounts-paid.108818/page-5 Also, I'm willing to consider "manually doing it in SQL" even if you don't create an importer. I can use the existing database to get a list of the sub-account relationships, so...

    [XenConcept] Linked Accounts [Paid]

So, I have an existing XF1.5 forum which has a lot of users relying heavily on an older "subaccounts" feature, which it sounds like this nearly replaces. How easy or hard would it be to migrate in data from such a thing into this new thing?

Lack of interest smilie XML documentation: either nonexistent or hard to find?

Various attempts to search for documentation of the format did not yield any documentation. I eventually reverse-engineered it from a smilie export. It would be nice to have docs, also to have a more specific message than "invalid XML" such as "this attribute is missing" or "this attribute is...

XF 1.5 Posts out of order even after thread rebuild

The last two posts in a thread are appearing out of order. A post from about three hours ago is the "last" post in the thread, a post from about half an hour ago is showing before it. I've done the rebuild cache thing. No effect. Not sure what else might be at issue. Any suggestions? EDIT: I...

Post Ratings - taking likes to the next level [Deleted]

More generally, should you be able to see ratings from people you've ignored? I ask because we've got some issues with users who sometimes use ratings to poke people who don't want to talk to them.

XF 1.5 xf:if for "user is ignoring me"?

I am looking for a thing I could put in styles to handle "the user whose post I'm looking at has me on ignore". Reason is, likes/ratings/etc., we've had issues with users using "Likes" on posts to send people alerts, etc., and basically I'd rather have a way to turn that off. If I could put...

Post Ratings - taking likes to the next level [Deleted]

So, I'm using this experimentally, and I have a lot of questions about things that users might like. Among them: Prevent users you've ignored from leaving reactions on your posts. (This seems pretty hard, XF doesn't seem to expose whether users have ignored you normally.) Let a user react more...

XF 1.5 Disable "show ignored ..."?

A "block" feature, I would think, would be "prevent this other user from seeing my content". My issue is mostly that I have a lot of people doing mental health recovery things, which means I have people who can't keep themselves from clicking a link like that. And removing the links wouldn't...

XF 1.5 Disable "show ignored ..."?

We have occasionally had issues which would be pretty well resolved if we could cause users to ignore each other (a thing for which addons exist), except that users can just bypass that and click "show ignored content". Is there any way to disable bypassing-ignore, either per user or site-wide...

    XF 1.5 quasi-private threads?

    Drat. Oh, well.

    XF 1.5 quasi-private threads?

Something I've seen elsewhere: A forum where you can't see a thread list, but where you can still see specific threads if given links to them, similar to how a forum that's visible but marked for "don't show in node list" works. Can we do this in XF? So far as I know, "view node" also controls...

    Some kind of "self-ban" feature?

Have a bunch of people with mental health issues, who have a really hard time Staying Away when they're upset. Admin banning is a lot of work/hassle. Would be super cool if it were easy to let users issue themselves temporary bans. (Like, even just a couple of hours.) EDIT: I could actually...

    can we... moderate... moderators?

FWIW, as a followup: Possibly surreally, I can in fact approve my own posts. Approve posts is turned off for me, but I can do it. This may be because the account is the Super Admin that created the forum.

    can we... moderate... moderators?

... So on further science: I've done this successfully, and now the mod queue has one of my posts in it, which I can see, but apparently mods can't see it? (And I added more permissions and maybe it works now, but it may not cause the "Moderation" queue to show the posts as expected.)

    can we... moderate... moderators?

Interesting! I mean, it makes sense because if I can approve posts obviously I can approve my own, but as it happens, it'd be super convenient if I could set my default account to dump stuff in the queue for second-opinions. But still be able to do mod queue for other users. ... As a side...
