Ah right, I think i understand now. That email (well, domain) is registered through office 365. strange that it wouldnt accept the email from Xenforo/the forums host?

I've just been into my profile and "sclarke@zoomcorp.co.uk" is setup. this is my email address that i use daily at work. I'm not sure why its saying zoomcor though
Cheers Chris. the mailserver has no accounts or usernames connected to it though. obviously all of our forum members won't have users with our mail server.
Am i being thick? my personal email which is @gmail.com worked fine

I hope you can help.
I've been testing my forum for a while and sorted out some email problems, however, i was trying to turn on two-factor authentication with my admin account, and the following error appears.
Any ideas?
Bugger - OK. It's so frustrating, i'm not sure whether i'm affected by this issue or doing something wrong!
I presume "Could not read from just61.justhost.com" means it could be a port issue. they didn't seem to entertain that, though.
When i enter the above settings in XenForo's SMTP using TLS and i try to do a test (activating two step verification for example) it just hangs ans spins round. if i use SSL it errors
Using TLS: "Zend_Mail_Protocol_Exception: Email to ************ failed: Could not read from...

OK - should i be able to use the default and -f parameter if they open the ports up? or will i have to use an external host?

Nope, i'm with JustHost. The domain i'm using ISN'T the domain we have with O365 if that could make a difference? I don't mind who hosts the SMTP though, if there's another way around it
