Thread types are only a suggestion; if there's a better way to implement this I'm all for it. :)
I hear you! We should likely continue the discussion on the suggestion thread. I don't want to take this support thread too far off topic. :)
I'm proposing a new thread type (or types) for parent and child threads, similar to what this add-on does. It allows for a parent thread with multiple child threads. The child threads would serve as chapters or entries that can be commented on by other members.

I love these type of content discovery improvements! Beautifully done and very useful. Thank you! :)

Direct message searching is something I've wished I had on my site many times. I have some seriously long direct messages and this makes it much easier to find the content I need. Thank you for this improvement!
@truonglv - I've been trying to troubleshoot the issue I posted above. Instead, I ended up uninstalling and doing a fresh install. There are a couple issues and questions I have about the new version.
Posting this on your tech support forum as well.
The old version of the add-on used to create...

I've commissioned several add-ons from @Ozzy47 and @Painbaker including the Thread Chapters add-on. They have always been fast, professional, and reasonably priced. I am very happy and recommend their work! :)
Is there a built-in way to restrict top level profile posts to the profile owner, yet still allow other users to comment on the posts?
For example, on my own profile page I see this field and have the option to start a new profile post (aka update my status). I'd like to prevent other members...
