yeah, think I've just cocked up a little - once I put the emoticons back in the default directory with the others and then spelt the filename correctly its all fine, thanks for your reply

Actually just tried another one and it would not load the emoticon, broken symbol despite correct file name

S'ok sussed it - seems you have to ensure you have the exact filename including case sensitive
