Is there a recommendation for how best to diagnose which our add-ons are hurting us the most? Should a developer look at it for us, or is there a recommended test that we can run ourselves on a test site where we test before and after disabling our different addons?

Yeah, but the XF dev team is getting a score of around 87 (or 84) according to Kier's latest HYS video. So how are you doing so much better than them, who have zero 3rd party addons?

OK, I see now, there is an MP4 that displays there on XenForo's site: https://xenforo.com/community/styles/default/xenforo/add_to_home.mp4 Is the idea that we are supposed to put our own video/gif there, and if so, how do we do that? Does that require a template mod?

Yes, and we run a blog where we highlight the best threads on the site. We used to run this in WP, now we do it within XF.
