Does Xenforo support symbols, like the degree symbol (°)?

I bought an MSI laptop a while ago. It's the worst piece of crap I have ever owned. The keyboard keys are flaky and several of them only work intermittently.

Does Xenforo support symbols, like the degree symbol (°)?

On my US keyboard, the key to the left of the number 1 is the back quote(?) (`) and the tilde (~).

Does Xenforo support symbols, like the degree symbol (°)?

I just learned that Windows 11 has two emoji keyboard shortcuts: Win+. (period) and Win+; (semicolon). Curiously, but not surprisingly for M$FT, I could not find the Windows key symbol in the collection of symbols. In the Math Symbols section, there is the squared plus symbol: ⊞.

Lack of interest Random or rotating signature

I follow dozens of forums. I see all kinds of interesting, entertaining, and informative signatures. But seeing the same "clever" signature in every post gets a little old. I came here to suggest providing a way to have multiple signatures that would be selected randomly or on a rotating basis...

Does Xenforo support symbols, like the degree symbol (°)?

Of course. I use that all the time for emojis. I just never noticed that there is a symbol tab at the top. 🤔° 😯℉ 😄℃ . . . Thanks 👏👏👏

Does Xenforo support symbols, like the degree symbol (°)?

Using that logic, Xenforo should not include anything that I can do in Windows. That would make Xenforo a lot simpler, bur harder to use. And I didn't say it was Xenforo's responsibility. I said it would be helpful. That is very helpful. Thanks. I wasn't aware of charmap. °°°°°°°°° !!! 👏👏👏 Done

That's what I thought. I couldn't find one. I have posted a suggestion in that section.

Lack of interest A way to insert symbols

I'd like to suggest some sort of "symbol" button be added that would make it easy to insert various symbols, such as the degree symbol (°), without having to rely on the ASCII codes (0176 for degree). Most of the Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook) have an "Insert" tab which brings up the entire...

Does Xenforo provide a way to insert special symbols, like the degree symbol (°)?

Is there a way to enter tabular data?

Found it, thanks. I don't know how I missed it. It seems to work so it could be used to emulate tables with some tedious editing work. A B C aaa bbb ccc 123 456 789 1.23 4.56 7.89 But if I have a table in Word, even if it's in Courier, when pasted into a CODE block...

Is there a way to enter tabular data?

I'm never going to become licensed. I'm just a user of a lot of forums. I came here from sciforums to see if it was really true that there is no support for tables. Bye-bye.

Is there a way to enter tabular data?

And which button would that be? I wondered how long it would be until someone used that tired old line. Much easier to attack the messenger than fix the software.

Is there a way to enter tabular data?

tajhay, That's certainly better, but still mediocre at best. Switch to something like vBulletin with more or less wysiwyg table support. This is 2015 (almost 2016). We've had wysiwyg for, oh, 35+ years! vBulletin also provides buttons for Code, Quote and other things. ymmv

Is there a way to enter tabular data?

OMG, that's awful. It's essentially unusable, IMHO. Here's an example of a reasonably decent implementation: http://www.vbulletin.com/. I use it on http://www.mrexcel.com/.

Is there a way to enter tabular data?

Does this software have a way to enter data in columns, as in a table? If I paste a table, such as from Word or Excel, this software compresses out all of the extra spaces, making the data useless. I even tried using a monospaced font (Courier), but the same thing happens. There doesn;t even...
