    Internet Brands claims against XenForo

Unsatisfactory as far as explaining what is going on, but it's good to know that the beta will go on.

Thanks for your constructive criticism. Microsoft gets plenty of bad press as a company. I stand by what I said- logistically, people don't care about whether a company is nice or not. They care whether or not the product is a good one. And for the record, good for you for avoiding MS...

    Internet Brands claims against XenForo

Why? He's heavily involved in the vBulletin community. He likely has working relationships with people from IB. Perhaps he has info regarding the lawsuit that we do not. Regardless, he believes that vBulletin is in the right here, which for all we now they may be. None of us have information on...

Will this be the end of vBulletin?

Will this be the end of vBulletin?

Not really. Some people just buy the software and use it to run their forum with, and beyond that stay out of the forum admin world. Some people actually live without all this drama

    Discipline / Infraction System

My biggest gripe with the vB system was that if you wanted to ban from ACP/ModCP, there was no way to track that.

Having read Kier's interview, I can confirm this.

Are you a Mac or a PC?

Actually, that's not really true either. It's Unix-like. Minix had no proprietary UNIX code in it, and Linux was heavily inspired by Minix. While Linux is very similar to UNIX, I definitely wouldn't say it developed from it.
