Hello. I have the same question. I noticed that admins can add resources without approval, although approval option is enabled for the category. Is there a way to do the same for other user groups?

Not necessary. We have a large forum and use groups not only for permission purposes, but to show that some user has some interests. So icons let other members know that someone is a writer or an art-maker, for example. With text banners it takes too much space. But we use text banners for staff...
