This was a style installation issue. We also found that cloudflare caching the javascript can cause the same issue on one or two of our XF installations. We turned that off and it worked again. Strange.

I have a member who has opted out of the map but they still show up. I also changed their permissions to "Included on map: Never" and they still show. Are they cached in the map and it takes some time to remove them?

I seemed to have solved this issue by lowering the sensitivity of "Package: OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set" to low. Both High and Medium triggered it when editing a long post. No idea why...
I too am having issues with cloudflare WAF and XF. Seems to happen when editing large posts. I disabled the rules above but it didn't fix it. I had to turn off the WAF altogether in order to get past the error. Hopefully someone smarter than me can determine which rule is causing the problem...
