So, subnodes show up on the forum root, but if you have nested subnodes, they don't show up on the next level down. Is there a way to make them show up?

Also, does anyone know the correct size for a Recentslider slide.jpg so that it doesn't get cut off? I'll figure this out by guess and check if no one does.

I read the FAQ and experimented extensively before making my original post in this thread. I found nothing which allowed me to modify the block sizes and shapes in the original Portal Layout. I'm sure there is a way, since other people have done it, I just can't figure it out myself. Any help...
Thanks for looking. Additionally, can anyone explain why a custom layout called "Forum" with no ID (and having no other forum layouts) doesn't seem to be able to change my forum page? Or why enabling "Index (index > portal)", which appears to be the only way to create different portal layouts...
Still looking for help. Can someone explain how to change the size/position of a block in the default Portal layout (so I can use it without enabling global layouts and losing my forum sidebar)?
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the dimensions of a block area in a layout. My portal is stuck with 7 tiny little boxes incapable of showing pretty much anything. I've tried reinstalling, no good.
