Not really.

It's more a way of making it easy for new members to register if they visit via links on those social media platforms, as they will already be logged in to them.

I disagree wholeheartedly... if you are already logged into social network, all it takes is one click of mouse to log into your xenforo site .. be it facebook, twitter or google+

I appreciate the thought behind this, but I, for one, find its use confusing.

I much prefer the add-on QuoteMe for Xenforo. Now that I find intuitive, and my users love it, as well.

Why doesn't Xenforo incorporate something so elegant? The idea is simple: you want to quote something...you highlight it and click the QuoteMe popup.

It's brilliant.

They perform two different functions. Selective quoting has been suggested.

Overall I have found that Xenforo have an excellent way of handling spammers. Having moved from SMF were daily cleaning of spammers was one of the task I had to perform as a administrator to Xenforo were spammers are just handled, well, can only complement the current system

XF beta releases don't usually include changelogs as they will be included in the full release instead.
