For example, I have tag Xenforo. Forum will show every thread, where «Xenforo» appears in the posts. Tags with strange name like «Xenforo abracadabra» shows what they should.

Exactly... search is literally being disabled from returning results due to xentag. Disable it, results get returned. Enable it, search is useless in combination with tagging.

Anthony, your problem is different from his. The search engine only index thread title for threads so if you search for keywords in the thread's first post, it won't show up. Try again with something in the thread title + some tag and it should be found.

You should rebuild your search index after upgrading new version.
I have that notice in my upgrade
