I have both addons and I am excited at the potential of this! I have some suggestions based on messing with the shop for 2 days.

1) I like how users can buy custom items. For example, I have custom hockey cards people can buy and store in their inventory or gift to other users for fun! This is how it looks:

My first suggestion is being able to click on items and see the actual size because these items have great detail. So for example, I could click on an item in the store and view a larger version if available. I think this is important. This should be possible from the inventory on a profile as well.

2) When you gift an item to a user, they should receive a notification showing the item and from who sent it. I suggest when they click the notification it brings them to the 'purchases' screen in the shop. They can see the item and decide what to do with it. (I mentioned this above, I am just combining all suggestions)

3) For products the order category seems to be broken. I have tested it many times and it seems to be based off the order in which you add the products, not the order you specify. This could take a looking at.



4) When i try to upload an image for a product I get this error message, so currently I am using from url setting. Suggestion on fixing?

5) Last it would nice to have a limit criteria for the 'actions'. For example, you can only get paid once per day for voting on a poll. I had to disable a bunch of them as they are easy to 'boost off or cheat' to get a lot of money. A user could keep voting on a poll if they wanted to to earn money. So a limit per day criteria would be nice.


I know this is a lot but I wanted to be precise and describe them correctly. I really like this addon and it has tons of potential! I look forward to future updates.

I have three more suggestions:

1) When you buy anything from the shop, including user upgrades, you should automatically be directed to the 'Purchases' screen. Many of my users were confused when they purchased a 'User name change' for example they didn't know where to find it or use it.
2) When you have used a 'user upgrade' it should disappear from your inventory/purchases. Example below. I have used the 'change user name' but it is still visible. There's no need for it to still show up
3) Being able to delete an item from your inventory/purchases. It would make sense if you could delete or throw away an item from your inventory that you no longer want. It would just be deleted.

This addon would be great if you could add

• Buying premade signature images
• A way to share your "Items" in your signature to show off.
• A page that lists everyone's items so they can request to trade with one another.
• In the store menu, organizing by price, and out of stock. There is currently no way to organize, the number system doesn't work.
• The ability to define the size of an inventory item so if you wanted to make collectible cards or such you could.
• The ability to buy something and send it directly to the person you are buying it for instead of buying it then gifting it, such as a user upgrade since you cannot gift that.

Finally purchased these and now playing around with them. Only encountered one big issue so far.

When trying to upload an image to a product, I got this error:

Product image directory is not writable.

Checking this thread, I saw that the image directory was data/product. This directory does not exist on a fresh install (just installed AD Credits: Shop 1.0.5 patch b on XF 1.5.1). I had to create the directory manually.

I also have a few suggestions:

• Add an option for the product description to appear when hovering over the item in the user's inventory tab on their profile OR make an overlay so you can see the item description
• Update product descriptions to support the use of html in them -- right now the hover item description in the admin area does not format html
• Hide the "Purchase" option if you don't have any credit packages created

With the permission not working this addon is very limited and really does need some extra features. I was hoping this shop was similar to the dbtech shop I had on VB but sadly it's not even close

If no features are added im going to find an alternative.

This part in the overview should be removed "Any permission such as bypass flood" its false.

@Jake B. is it not at all possible to allow users to delete/discard their own products? For example, ours is a politics site and I'd like users to be able to buy items indicating their political standpoint - i.e capitalist, communist, socialist, anarchist etc. Users change their mind from time to time, so not being able to delete old inventory items is a deal breaker.

We actually have an update for it planned soon to release a couple other small features. For the most part we haven't been doing much to it because it is at a stable point. This is an add-on that we will definitely be continuing for 2.0 though

I have many members complaining when they buy permission items that the permissions are not properly applied. The two most frequently complained about permissions are Flood Control & Spam Bypass. You've had another user called @madness85 complain about this as well. Please either fix the functionality or offer a partial refund, I've complained about this in the past and now that others are having issues with it, I am growing frustrated beyond the ability to just accept an "it works on our test board" answer. I have no idea why you don't just integrate the permissions purchases with Xenforo's user permissions functionality, and have a cron remove the specific permission if it is expired. I suggested that in the past when I told you this feature was broken, and you wanted money from me to implement my suggested fix. Beyond frustrated with Audentio. You guys used to be my favorite add-on developer until you got greedy.

No, I told you node permissions aren't working correctly because of the way XenForo checks these permissions. I also told you that I was looking into a way around this. All non-node based permissions work fine.
