It seems you have every page as a child of "Wiki Index", there is no reason for this.Anyone have suggestions on how make the wiki look better... Like it looks really ugly haha
Code:<td style="padding: 0px"> <div class="primaryContent" style="padding: 6px 3px 3px;"><a href="http://xen1.8wayrun.com/wiki/{{{slug}}}/"><img src="soulcalibur/{{{slug}}}.jpg" alt="{{{name}}}" /></a></div> <div class="secondaryContent" style="padding: 3px;">{{{name}}}</div> </td>

The top half I modeled after Jaxel's wiki page. The bottom page is just something I thought looked better then the default. I too am looking for ideas here.
Is it likely you will have more than one editor ?I have a question -
For my website, that I hope to move to Xenforo in the future, I plan on using this Wiki to incorporate tutorials and information since my website is based around Xbox modifications and such.
This can be done manually.I'm wondering if there's a way to have a thread linked(Or even generated when a Wiki page is made) such that all discussion (like the discussion tab on Wikis) could take place there?
A discussion tab vs. just having comments below tends to discourage discussion (ie. wikipedia). The benefit of a good wiki which works well with a forum is you can use xenforo's excellent posting functions as a comment engine for the wiki item. The main drawback of having wiki items and comments "all the way over" in the wiki area is they are separated from the main action in the forums. This is a huge drawback. You want users to know that new wiki items have been made (without having to go there) and you want wiki comments to show up as "New Posts" as well. I have suggested somewhere where new wiki items and comments could show up as "New" items, but actually just redirect you to the wiki area. Technically the wiki item would not actually be in the forum posts area, but that a placeholder would be there that just redirects people to the wiki item they clicked on.Or maybe integrate a discussion tab and have a thread show up there?
Excellent idea. Also, how about 'liking' a specific wiki page?

The main reason for a wiki or more of a tutorials/articles area is that wiki articles can easily link to each other and that editing is shared amongst many editors.
This can be done manually.
As well, you can embed an entire wiki item inside a post.
So in this method you'd probably make a wiki entry, make a new thread, post the entire wiki item in the first post and discussion can ensue from there.

Xbox modification How Tos and resource lists are VERY much suited for a wiki.
Mostly because they are things which need to be kept up to date and therefore having a go to place to update will yield excellent google ranking. If your site is the first to update a certain Modification that people are searching for ... Google will reward you in a big way. Wikis provide a predictable content structure that over time outperforms forum threads and posts.
Good luck on your site. You also shouldn't call the wiki a wiki. It's so non-sexy. Since the wiki will be THEE information repository on your site ... either give it a cool name or call it a manual. I dont know the xbox mod scene ... so I dont know a cool name. Ideally, people will remember the name of your manual and will both refer others to it and google the name. Once you get to that level of recognition google will throw users your way. You should very much consider making wiki entries vs forum posts ... but I wouldnt launch a wiki unless it was integrated in the "New Posts" search of the forums.
I am not clear what you mean. Can you post a screenshot? For some reason, my Wiki Index (Sidebar) links are stacked one on top of the other. Any suggestions?
I figured out the issue. The problem is the title of the new Wiki page.I am not clear what you mean. Can you post a screenshot?

This is exactly what I mean. This product has been skimmed for development and improvement purposes, and time placed in things like xenmedia... this product has some basic functionality like this that is missing, and limiting people from using this. This product has so much potential... and I hope Jason puts more focus into enhancing this product sooner, rather than later, so it grows as well.It would be nice if we can toggle of the sub-pages to appear on top of the parent page or not.
