Your Xenforo forum's speed according to GTMetrix

I noticed a few posts about slowness of XenForo, my experience has been the opposite. Wonder if we can quantify this?



Running on a Digital Ocean $15/month droplet (2GB RAM, 2vCPUs 60GB SSD) on Ubuntu18.04 / nginx / MariaDB, no redis caching, no CDN.

Dismal. I won't even share it cuz is embarrassing

Google Lighthouse's mobile benchmark is only 65-73% for me, but its skewed to crappy connections and phones. The devtools Lighthouse version:



There is certainly room for improvement at Xenforo's end with some specific recommendations on mimimising javascript loads etc, but on my iPhone 8 on 4G in New Zealand, the page loads very quickly indeed. I'm not terribly worried if its a little slow on a crap low end Android phone on 3g.

Its a bit variable, but 85% is fairly respectable.
