I've been using LNBlog (the predecessor) for months now. It's working just fine.Really want to buy this but it doesn't sound like its quite in a state for a live site yet...

It is beta so obviously there's going to be issues and random things. Giving feedback so I'm aware of these things is the only way they'll get better.
A little unfair to compare this with the previous version as this is practically a new add-on, literally throwning everything out and starting with a clean slate.I've been using LNBlog (the predecessor) for months now. It's working just fine.
All part of going back to the beginning: growing pains.Very true, I'll post some screenshots so it's clear as soon as I have some time.
Thanks
True, but considering you guys are making LN upgradeable to XIBlog at some point...it might be worth it to use LNBlog until XIBlog is all good and then just upgradeA little unfair to compare this with the previous version as this is practically a new add-on, literally throwning everything out and starting with a clean slate. There's definite feature gaps with what was in v1.0 but they're closing fast.
It may be beta, but its still one of the most stable pieces of software I've seen. And he's been fixing bugs faster than I would think is imaginable. I'll be deploying B1 on a live site soon enough.True, but considering you guys are making LN upgradeable to XIBlog at some point...it might be worth it to use LNBlog until XIBlog is all good and then just upgrade![]()
Indeed it is. I've had no problems with it at all.It may be beta, but its still one of the most stable pieces of software I've seen. And he's been fixing bugs faster than I would think is imaginable. I'll be deploying B1 on a live site soon enough.
Being stable doesn't mean it is great. Other customers including myself need more. Please stop the "bromancing".Indeed it is. I've had no problems with it at all.
I have it running on Admin Talk, but there are only 2 demo post there atm.
Guest can see them though, feel free to take a look.
Not that I see in google?Thank you. Are there more sites using this Blog product? I am interested in seeing how it looks when it's in full use.
I know adept gamer is, I'm not sure of any others, and my site will be running it eventually.Thank you. Are there more sites using this Blog product? I am interested in seeing how it looks when it's in full use.
What features do you need? What would you like to see? What is it missing? Onimua, and anyone else for that matter, can't effectively build a better program without feedback. I have yet to see "bromancing" going on, but XI Blog v1.1 is far better than it was in v1.0, and is only going to get better.Being stable doesn't mean it is great. This is being added in one of the next beta's, it was just left out for testing sake.If I understood the posts earlier, its not possible to delete blogs without going into the database. That's pretty much a showstopper for us as none of our mods have db access.
If I'm mistaken then that'd be great![]()

Also will be added within betas, so you won't be SOL for long.I am pretty well left out of it all until an upgrade script for XlBlog v1 is done
It's not, yet. I have it, and I have to say... it is exceptional and what I would expect from all the talk over the last year about it. Saying that... there is no way you could install this version onto a live site, because there are permissions and functions that don't work.Really want to buy this but it doesn't sound like its quite in a state for a live site yet...
Theres an extensive list planned, and a lot of changes to make this a better platform as it matures.Yeah this blog solution seems to be considerably better (what I have seen from demos) than the Better Blogs system. While some people may need some of the features it (Better Blogs) has I will for sure be buying this one. Wish I would have held out and not bought Better Blogs now.
As Forsaken said, this will be added soon.
What i know is, that Forsaken, Onimua and KK are great Coders and the work they had done till today is on the top level of all Xenforo Coders. So I can wait a litte more to get a well coded Blog.
