I’m asking if we can get an additional prefix for our addons on here called something like “Maintenance mode” meaning it’s supported but not actively being developed. Right now we’d can only choose unmaintained which scares a lot of customers off.

I highly support this suggestion. As a customer, I never download an add-on if it has an unmaintained tag on it.

And this is not enough (or sometimes misleading): More than once I happened to face add ons that were not classified as "unmaintained" but were neither developed further nor maintained but rather ignored by their makers. One can't complain if it is a free add on, however, this seems to happen with paid ones often enough as well. So, due to the mechanic how "unmaintained" is set automatically and the lack of other stati it is a bet if an add on will have a future or not - often enough some of those with the tag "unmaintained" are indeed better maintained that some of those that lack that tag.
