It would be nice if you took it out <xf:if is="$update.smrmeh_edit_count && $update.Resource.Category.hasPermission('smrmeh_view')"> condition into a function in Category entity.

This is a fantastic addon, but I did have one big suggestion / request: It would be great if this would also record the history for custom fields. We use them extensively, and only recording the description in the history limits how useful the addon is for us.
