This is a big issue for us. We must have over 2000 covers in use on our current XF1 platform. More than 900 of them by paying vendors for lsitings in our Resource Manager area of the site.
 
Now that XF 2.2 has profile covers, will extended cover upgrade the profile cover to XF core profile cover?
 
XF 2.2 includes profile covers. We have thousands of covers in your addon. It would be a problem to lose these. Profile Covers is premium feature at our site.
Your addon has more features, as it allows for multiple covers and slider.

Any update on the upgrade path from xf1 to xf2 for this? We have over 10k resources with extended covers.

No update planed yet for this addon.
I always wait feedback on beta before plan something on it.

Well I'd love for it to be able to transfer xf1 extended cover to xf2 or if there's a way we can do it manually that'd be great to know too!
 
If you are comfortable with SQL you can do it manually I think.
A large part of the data is stored in the xf_attachment_ tables.

Only content types has changed if i remember how it's work.
