I tried rebuilding catch and deleting index, still occurring, any thoughts on how to resolve this?

I attempted a repair:
mysql> repair table xf_search_index;

If this doesn't fix the issue - I'm not sure what will and waiting for it to come up again.

table needs repair

This has happened to others.

You need to repair the xf_search_index table.

You can do that using the MySQL Databases option in cPanel - click on the Repair DB button.

Alternatively you could truncate (empty) the table and rebuild the search index using the option in the ACP.
