XF 2.2 xf_search growing to 5 GB+ even when using elastisearch/enhanced search

I have the same issue. I have to truncate this table manually periodically. Any fix for this?

I can't recall what it was sorry. If you have Claude Code, connect it and Opus 5.5 will sort it. It runs all my systems now flawlessly. It even build complex xenforo mods from scratch and installs them all within minutes. It's insane. Test on dev site first ofc.

you may have other cron jobs that are hung and thus cron's aren't running. check your jobs table.

Had a similar issue. Checked xf_search table and found it was filled with the same search queries from bingbot. Put a block rule in Cloudflare and that table stays at 1.3MB for last few days with no new search from the bot.
