A lot of forums use a main forum for general discussion chit chat and sub-forums for more topical, specific discussions. I've always wanted the ability to promote the higher quality sub-forum thread content to my larger crowd that hangs around the general forum.
I'd like to see the "What's new" function of listing multiple nodes threads, added to discussion node options. The options to set a forum node to list it's threads (questions, articles, etc) along with threads from other indicated nodes. Threads from other forums would have their nodes title displayed along with the threads title. Such a thread would then be listed redundantly, in it's origin forum and the other node(s) set to include threads from it's origin forum.
