XF Gold speculation

I know there is not a solid date but can any predictions be offered as to when the official release of XF will be available? I've noticed the bug reports list has been dwindled down and there seems to be no major issues.

Personally, my website design will be complete this weekend and I will be ready to go live Monday. I wish to hold off because there is the XF gold upgrade, then a ton of template changes which is a manual process for me, then the add-on updates, etc. So I prefer to hold off my live site until XF is official assuming it is coming soon.

This is my first website and I am brand new to everything. I did not make my template changes in Extras.css because I had no understanding of how that worked. So this upgrade will be quite an unpleasant experience for me. I have over 50 templates with updates. The experience of going through every line of 50 templates and copying the changes over wont be fun.
You shouldn't have to go through every line of every changed template.

For a start, you will only need to revert and re-edit any templates which change between releases.

It's not necessary to go through them line by line, just copy in your added/changed code to the new template.
You really should be documenting all the changes you've made to make this process much simpler.

Move any css edits to EXTRA.css.

It's not too late to start this now and in fact, the sooner you do it, the better off you will be.
You can use an app' to identify which templates have been changed - notepad++ is one such free editor - http://notepad-plus-plus.org/
Create a new default style, compare all of the changed templates with the defaults and make a note of the changes.

After 1.0 there will be 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, etc.
This won't be the last time you upgrade by any means.

thx for the advise all. It's my intention to take both Dean and Brogan's advice. I'll wrap up my current projects and begin working on it Sunday.
if your edits are limited to templates and styling you could simply update, not revert any templates, create a ew style, customise that style properly, then mark it default and delete the old styles.

On the heels of iPad 2 Announcement, a xenForo 1.0.0 a gold release would be awesome. Mix in Jaxel mods, Tapatalk and mmm goodness all around. I couldn't think of a better way to view or interact on the web.
My thinking exactly. Great to see that 1.1 will bring text from posts in emails. I suspect that might be the one feature most requested when moving from vB.
