Great Addon! Thank you!
Except for the branding :) It would be cool if, in the future, you could remove it for a few coins or have it only appear on pages where this add-on is used. Here's the XML file for XenStreak for anyone who needs it in German
Thank you so much for the kind words and the review! 🙏

And a huge thanks for sharing the German XML translation — that’s really generous of you, the community will definitely appreciate it! 🇩🇪

About the branding: that’s a fair point, and I’ve been thinking about it too. I’ll consider adding a paid option to remove the branding in a future update, or at least limiting it to only the pages where the add-on is actively used, as you suggested. I’ll keep you posted once it’s implemented!

Thanks again for the support and the contribution! 🙌

News & Fixes

Fixes

  • Streaks now roll over at the member's local midnight (their timezone) instead of UTC. This stops streaks from resetting for members who visit late at night. Daylight saving time is handled, and it falls back to the board timezone when a member hasn't set their own.
  • The flame "active" window is more tolerant of timezone offsets, so a valid streak is no longer hidden by mistake.
Changes

  • Renamed the "Total daily visits" stat to "Total days visited" for...

XenStreak 1.0.6 - bug fixes

XenStreak 1.0.6 - bug fixes

🧼 Profile badge cleaned up
The streak badge on member profiles was showing the day count twice on desktop ("9 9 days" instead of just "9 days") because of a redundant element. It now reads [flame] 9 days cleanly on both desktop and mobile.

🧹 Footer credit dedup
Removed the older footer credit injection that was running alongside the new consolidated one. If you had several XenSupport add-ons installed, your footer was...

Streaks that no longer reset out of nowhere

XenStreak 1.0.7 - Streaks that no longer reset out of nowhere
Free update. Built straight from community feedback.

The headline: several of you reported streaks resetting "for no reason." After a deep dive, the day-counting math turned out to be correct in every timezone. The real culprit was two design flaws working together, and both are now fixed.

What was actually happening

  • The flame...

Hello, add the ability to link your colors to a specific period of activity, as well as a list of the top users on the members page.
The plugin is great, thank you for your efforts!

Hi,

Thank you, that means a lot, really glad you're enjoying it!

Both ideas are good and I'd like to add them. One quick check on the first one so I build the right thing: when you say linking colors to a period of activity, do you mean being able to set your own flame colors and thresholds, so a color you choose kicks in after a certain number of streak days instead of the built-in levels? Or did you have something else in mind, like colors tied to a specific calendar period or event?

The "top users on the members page" one is clear, and I like it. A block showing the top streaks that you can drop onto the members page would fit really well.

No firm timeline yet, but both are on my list for a future update. Let me know what you meant on the colors and I'll take it from there.

Best,
SenseiXS

Yes, to change the color of the flame when a certain value is reached.
You can also add a clause about reaching a certain flame value in the trophies to reward you with points.

Perfect, that's exactly what I needed. To confirm I've understood:

  • The flame changes color when a member reaches certain streak values, with the thresholds and colors set by you.
  • A trophy condition for reaching a given streak, so members earn the trophy (and its points) when they hit it.
  • Plus the top streakers list on the members page from your first message.
All three are a great fit, and they're going on the roadmap for the next XenStreak update. I can't promise a date yet, but that's the direction I want to take it, and I'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

Thanks again for the detailed feedback, it genuinely helps shape the add-on.

Cheers,
SenseiXS :)

Activity heatmap, streak freezes & a tidier profile badge

XenStreak 1.2.2

A nice batch of new features in this release to make streaks feel more alive.

Activity heatmap (GitHub-style)

Every member now has an activity grid (the last 53 weeks) that fills in as they log in, in an orange/red gradient. It shows on their streak page and on the leaderboard — visual, and it makes people want to keep the flame going.

Streak freezes

No more losing everything over a single missed day: members earn a freeze each time...

Never lose a streak by accident again

🔥 Never lose a streak by accident again

Version 1.3.0 adds a streak-at-risk reminder: when a member's streak is about to end, they get a friendly nudge to come back and keep it. It is the loss-aversion trigger that turns streaks into real daily engagement.

What's new

  • At-risk reminder: members are reminded on the last day they can still save their streak, before it resets.
  • Sent in their evening: an hourly cron delivers it...

I think it's great that you no longer lose your streak if you have enough points! But of course, what users here would like to see is who has actually been active for 365 days without using a freeze. I would therefore recommend adding another statistic here.

Rebuilt on native XenForo: celebrations that show up and a rival to chase

XenStreak 2.0.0 rebuilds the add-on on XenForo itself. Every 1.4 feature is still there, your streaks, records, freezes, embers, tiers and seasons move over on their own, and it is still free.

The day counts on the first page
  • The visit is now counted before the page is built. In 1.4 it was counted after the page had been saved, so most celebrations never appeared and the first page of the day still showed yesterday's number.
  • Milestones, new tiers, records, saved streaks...

A quiet, safe upgrade from 1.x

XenStreak 2.0.2 makes the upgrade from 1.3 or 1.4 with "Install/upgrade from archive" quiet and safe. It no longer stops on an error_invalid_method message on servers that cache PHP files (OPcache), and no "Call to undefined method" lines land in the error log while the new files are put in place.

If an upgrade to 2.0.0 stopped on that error, your streaks are safe and the files are already in place: wait two minutes, then click Upgrade next to XenStreak in the add-on list, or install the...

2.0.3: no more credit in your footer

This update removes the "XenForo add-ons by ©XenSupport" line that XenStreak added to your forum footer, separator included. Nothing to configure: install the archive over the previous version from Admin CP > Add-ons and the line is gone once the upgrade has run.

The resource page now says so too: Visible branding: No.
