XenSocialize Pro [Paid] [Deleted]

Mr.G you mentioned that you are working on integrating this add-on with that of Gultar's Social Network loggin option... when can we expect this release? I would want to wait until then...

Also, i am confused with this "Migrate" option... if i am correct this option is like an "upgrade" option which will work without having to unistall the old version... ??? Point towards this http://yourwebsite.com/admin.php?xensocialize/migrate and it will upgrade to the latest version...???

atm i disabled the Twitter option because i have an auto-tweet set in facebook setting for my forums.. so it was kind of redundant but now with this User's update option i will have to activate it again and turn off the auto-tweet in FB settings..

btw thanks for the update... appreciate your effort (y)

Beta 3 will be released in a day or two which will give users of certain group the privilege to disable auto-posting on site's Facebook/Twitter profile, and will be released in a day or two. Beta 4 will give users the privilege to post on their social profile(s) on creating or replying a thread, will be published in a week.

Well, the add-on Id of the old one was 'xenCODE_XenSocialize' and the id of the new one is 'GFNXenSocialize' (we changed the prefix to match our sites) so using XenForo's Add-on Upgrade option wont work. So to I've added the action (xensocialize/migrate) to automatically fetch the configuration of the old add-on and update the current add-ons configuration (which also includes excluded forums and the user permission).

You have to first install the new one, visit the link provided and then uninstall the old one. The migration script doesn't migrate everything, so fill up the fields which were excluded.

Yes, to enable posting on user's twitter profile, you have to enable the plugin. :)
 
Well, it doesn't send it to facebook nor twitter, and yes I set the user permission and app settings :(
Migration also didn't work, getting "no old data found" error.
 
just so I understand, this is to give people permission to promote their threads on 1 main facebook account / 1 main twitter account & not to promote them to their own facebook / twitter pages. is that right?

I am still working on an integration with guiltar's SNA. And this version will allow user of certain groups (with the right permission) to post on their Facebook wall (now, timeline) when he/she:
  • Posts a status update.
  • Creates a new thread.
  • Replies a thread.
A notice will be shown to the users who have already linked their Facebook account to re-link (via a link)...

So I am still running version 1.2.4, simply because it works for me and I never saw a need for updating it. Since you have been on a update spree recently, I was thinking about going forward and see what the fuzz is about...

From what I gather it is now submitting per member, and not per forum? I really don't need this, so I'd much rather just stay on my good ol' version unless there is something else I should consider.
 
I have to agree here... really excited for the new updates, but I missed the feature of being able to choose which forums get sent to FB and Twitter... I don't want "Welcome" threads being sent, etc...

I may have overlooked that option...
 
I got a few problems.

First of i only see the share on Facebook button, i don't see the twitter one even know i have twitter set uo far as i know.

And then my preferences do not save on my profile page, no matter how many times i tick the box and click save the page reloads unticked.

With the new version being a Beta, the old version i feel should be still up for download. I had to uninstall the latest version due to errors, now i'm left with none to errors fixed.

Forum based permission are still there.
You have to go to AdminCP -> Application -> Node List -> Select the forum you want to edit.

For some reason, the Zend_Http_Client and/or Zend_Rest classes do not work on some servers and it has proven that the SDK of the respective Social Networks work in the same server. So I've added the SDKs. It is recommended to use XenSocialize's default helper. But if your posts are not being published, switch to the SDKs.

No need to upgrade to Beta 6 if you are not facing any error...

To upgrade, just upload everything from the 'upload' folder and import the...
