XF 1.5 XenForo_ControllerPublic_Thread Error

When ever I enter an incorrect url like so
https://cra0vision.net/forum/threads/[incorrect data here]/

Xenforo ****s itself and spits out:

The controller XenForo_ControllerPublic_Thread does not define an action called Awdawdaw.

Usually and i've tested this on other xenforo installations it should show
The requested page could not be found.

Any ideas? I see nothing in the server error logs.

I've tried disabling all addons too still same issue.

Are you in debug mode?

You are. You should not run that in production, it isn't recommended. And shows verbose errors like this.

I enabled debug mode to test the paypal sandbox stuff. I heard there is no way to do the sandbox without debug mode enabled.
