XenForo verifying if you are human message

Over the last several days I am seeing a message that XenForo is verifying if I am human several times each time I’ve signed to check for new messages. I can understand once I log in, but this pops up several times after logging in. Is this normal?

They have Cloudflare Turnstile running.
They've been attacked losers who DDoS attacked them.

Maybe subjected to a denial of service attack

Still getting these messages.
Must be some sore losers who possibly copped a ban or an infraction DDoS attacking this site.

try coming here if you are using TOR browser.
it is already slow because of what it is.
it is painfully slow here with all the rechecks to see if i actually breathe or not.

Hardly the site operators fault if you're deliberately using a browser to mask all trace of human interaction. That's just simple cause and effect.

But yes I have seen an increase in verifications.. But it's a matter of a second or 2 if that. If it's longer it's because you have to tick a checkbox.

did i say it was their fault?
in fact i clearly said that it was slow because of what it is.
it is worse under TOR because idiots use it to abuse sites.
but almost every new visit is now a check and sometimes it repeats and repeats and repeats and i have to close down the window.
when something works slow but fine for months then starts acting differently and no change on browser it is good bet it is on the other end.

Usually I have 2-3 times with clicking the verification box.

Whose end is the "other end"?
the site you are connecting to.
you have two ends.
and steps in between.
in this case cloud flare is an in between step that was chosen to be used by the other end of the connection.
my isp is not the one injecting it nor their uplinks.

I have been experiencing it as well. Straight in using Firefox and Internet provider. Used to come to Xenforo and not have to experience all of that. I think there are options in Cloudflare to set it to hours, days, or weeks for browser check. Maybe they could do it once a day instead of like every 10 minutes? 🤔
