They have Cloudflare Turnstile running.Over the last several days I am seeing a message that XenForo is verifying if I am human several times each time I’ve signed to check for new messages. I can understand once I log in, but this pops up several times after logging in. Is this normal?

It’s correctStill getting these messages.
Must be some sore losers who possibly copped a ban or an infraction DDoS attacking this site.
That's rightI get it as well when refreshing my browser, from time to time.
Hardly the site operators fault if you're deliberately using a browser to mask all trace of human interaction. That's just simple cause and effect.try coming here if you are using TOR browser.
it is already slow because of what it is.
it is painfully slow here with all the rechecks to see if i actually breathe or not.

But yes I have seen an increase in verifications.. But it's a matter of a second or 2 if that. If it's longer it's because you have to tick a checkbox.

It happens frequently while using my iPad. No matter if I’m using t-mobile home internet at home, Xfinity at the office or Verizon cell service elsewhere.Doesn’t happen on mobile for me.
