I'm sorry, I don't understand. The XenForo domain is sent through Cloudflare, including the upgrade check api, which means if your server is treated as suspicious by cloudflare it might render an interstitial rather than actually showing the XF page. I doubt there's much the XF team could do to stop this, short of disabling cloudflare on the upgrade api.
