Might've been wrong. A totally custom style like the one at Spigot would have been over $1000, I'm sure.

Pretty sure it isn't. Used to talk to md_5 before, I think they paid quite a bit for it. They've had it for over 6 months now though. Then again, I'm stretching my memory far back so I might be getting the conversations I had with him mixed up with someone else, but I'm pretty sure it was him. I know it uses UI.X Framework though, or at least think it does.
