I run a forum with heavy image and video usage and I’m looking for a developer to help optimize media delivery, so everything loads blazing fast without risking site stability.

I’m looking to hire someone to properly optimize the server and media pipeline so images and videos load extremely fast, remain secure, and the site stays stable.
Current setup:
- Dedicated server using nginx via CloudPanel
- nginx reverse proxy on 443, backend on 8080 (PHP-FPM)
- Large volume of media served from /data/video/
- Intentionally avoiding Cloudflare R2
What I’ve already done:
- Confirmed videos support byte-range requests (206 Partial Content)
- Moved media delivery toward nginx serving files directly, not PHP
- Reduced PHP-FPM involvement during video playback
