XF 2.1 Xenforo MySQL database too large?

Hey guys,

So for context I helped install a forum for a friend and she was managing the site herself after I helped set it up. I myself have a basic understanding of all this. I was taking a look at the cPanel and noticed that xenforo was taking up ~250gb of the allocated 75gb. They have 700 members and around 2000 threads with lots of gifs and images. Does that seem right? And also if it doesn't seem right, is there a way to re-install and fix it without removing the forum content. Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it.

Check the size of the /data and /internal_data directories. That's where the images are stored afaik.

Just try to find out which directories are large, that will explain the problem.

As far as the DB is concerned, you can use phpMyAdmin to sort on table size to determine which ones are the largest.

Sometimes the search table gets filled due to guests/bots.
